Coolous Alien iPhone 4 Cases Are Alienlicious

Coolous was thinking outside the box when it designed these Alien cases for the iPhone 4 that have an alien-like back design that may or may not have strong inspiration taken from Alienware, the guys behind those powerful gaming PCs. Actually, that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw these cases. Coolous' Alien cases feature a hybrid design made up from an external, hard colored polycarbonate shell for impact protection coupled with a flexible, TPU inner layer for shock absorption. The Alien cases are expected to sell for $35. Paul would really appreciate these.

First Look At iSkin's Upcoming Vu & Solo Smart Cases for iPad 2

iSkin loves to leak a little of their hot new products just before they get released on their website. This time we've found out about iSkin's latest upcoming cases for the iPad 2 including the Vu case we've reviewed for the first gen iPad. The Vu for the iPad 2 now boasts a built-in kickstand for vertical and horizontal viewing. The iPad 2 version of the Vu case hasn't changed much in its construction and still features a semi-clear two-tone color scheme with soft, flexible TPU materials combines with hard polycarbonate. 

For those of you with an Apple Smart Cover, iSkin will release a Smart Cover compatible case called the Solo Smart. The Solo Smart case is designed with similar materials as the Vu case for the iPad and iPad 2, but takes on a different shape and design combining soft, flexible TPU with hard polycrbonate for extra back protection. The Solo Smart case for the iPad 2 will be available for $50 while the Vu case for the iPad 2 will be available for $60. It's safe to assume that iSkin will make both cases available very soon in various colors.

Update: iSkin has announced that the Vu and Solo Smart cases will be available later this month.

ElementCase Formula 4 & Ion 4 New Affordable iPhone 4 Cases

ElementCase is most known for their expensive aluminum iPhone 4 bumper cases in many different styles and finishes. This time, ElementCase is introducing their new Composite Line with two new cases for the iPhone 4 at a much more affordable price points with their new Formula 4 and Ion 4 cases. The Formula 4 case pictured to the left above is what ElementCase calls their most shock protective case which will run you $59.95, constructed out of ultra-high impact resistant polycarbonate material. The Formula 4 case has a slider style design and is a two-part case for easy docking with reinforced corners for a firmer grip as well as added protection. ElementCase's Formula 4 and Ion 4 both have a carbon fiber inlaid back plate. The Ion 4 will run you a bit less at $49.95, and it's made out of an ultra-high impact resistant TPU material with a non-slip ergonomic design. Both cases are compatible with the AT&T and Verison iPhone 4.

Speck Outs PixelSkin HD Wrap Case For iPad 2

Looks like Speck is going to hit a home run with their new PixelSkin HD Wrap Case for the iPad 2. The PixelSkin HD Wrap Case is the best of both worlds really, it mimics Apple's Smart Cover functionality with a proper back protection and it's all made out of a TPU material. Just like the PixelSkin HD case for the iPhone 4, a mixture of matte and glossy pixel texture dominates the front cover. You thought Speck used magnets? Nope. Instead, the PixelSkin HD Wrap Case's front cover will stay closed using micro-suction. Now that is just as interesting as magnets. Expect to see this soon in three colors for $49.95.

Case-Mate Outs Gelli Cases for Samsung Galaxy Tab

Case-Mate today released their Gelli case in three colors for the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The $19.99 Gelli case is made from a translucent TPU material and offers complete access to all ports while adding protection against scratches and minor bumps. 

SwitchEasy's Vulcan Now Available for iPad

SwitchEasy has ported it's Vulcan case (iPhone 3G/3GS & iPhone 4) to the iPad. The Vulcan is made out of the same material as the previous and current iPhone models and features a very similar back design with a translucent back panel that showcases the iPads Apple logo. The SwitchEasy Vulcan is available in two different colors (UltraBlack & UltraClear) and can be purchased for 29.99$

iSkin's Solo & Revo4 iPhone 4 Cases Available Tomorrow

iSkin announced that it will start selling it's long-awaited iPhone 4 case line-up which includes the popular and most favorited (made up word) Solo and Revo4 cases. There isn't anything new with these iPhone 4 cases except of course the updated design that's made to fit the new and more squarish design of the iPhone 4. iSkin also points out that these cases are made with 100% radio-transparent materials, which means that they will not interfere with your signal. The Solo case is a very slim TPU case that offers good protection while the Revo4 offers great shock and drop protection while adding some bulk. 

Don't expect these cases to come cheap, iSkin offers well designed, high quality cases and they charge a good amount for them. You will be able to order yours starting tomorrow - 5th of August.
