Vaja Outs Matelasse Leather iPad 2 Case

Those of you who want to indulge in leather goodness, Vaja has released yet another leather case for the iPad 2 called the Matelasse. The $260 Matelasse leather iPad 2 case opens up like a very expensive book and has a magnetic closure system that works with the iPad 2's magnetic on/off feature. The Matelasse offers two different landscape angles for typing and viewing movies while the leather Matelasse pattern offers a padded protection. Although it does look like the Matelasse was designed towards the female iPad 2 user crowd, the Matelasse is fully customizable with a slew of color selections for both the outside and inside of the case. The Matelasse is available right now and like any other handcrafted Vaja leather case, it will take at least 35 painful days of waiting until you can get your hands all over it.

Ikepod $40,000 Hourglass, How It's Made

I don't know about you but I love "how it's made" videos of practically anything. This video is just as awesome and shows you how exactly a $13,000 - $40,000 Hourglass is made. Prices differ upon the nanoballs used inside each Hourglass - steel, copper and gold nanoballs. Why not add an Ikepod Hourglass to your collection of watches? Oh that's right, you can buy a car instead. Nevertheless, you can't help but not appreciate these work of art handmade time pieces.

Vaja's Leather Agenda For iPad 2 Is Mouth Watering

Vaja continues to impress its leather sniffers by outing its popular Leather Agenda 2 leather folio case for the iPad 2 called the Leather Agenda. Why is Vaja charging you $220 for its new Leather Agenda over its Libretto for the iPad 2 that is priced at $160 and basically has the same exact functionality and style is beyond me. It might be because Vaja's Leather Agenda bares an elastic band for closure while the Libretto does not. So if you love the Libretto but want a secure closure system, pay an extra $60 and you have yourself an elastic band. Like any other Vaja case, the Leather Agenda for the iPad 2 is fully color customizable and handcrafted. It's available right now and will take 35 days to handcraft until it will be ready to ship out straight to your door.

Hermes iPad 2 Leather Case Costs More Than Your iPad 2

You thought Vaja's luxurious leather sleeves and cases were expensive? The Hermes leather iPad 2 case costs a whopping $1,400 for the Hermes Station - a book-style case that doubles as a stand (pictured above). Oh but Hermes is a luxury leather maker in Paris so it's understandable, right? If you don't have that kind of dough for a leather case, maybe Hermes' leather sleeve, the Swift (pictured below), will be in your price range at just $820. At least it's available in 10 different colors.
