Edifier Releases Their Unique Spinnaker Speakers

Global leading audio designer Edifer has recently introduced their flagship Bluetooth speaker systems that take on a very odd and innovative shape. Inspired by the sails normally found on sailboats, Edifier has taken the concept and transformed it into something much more. Designed for optimal sound, the Spinnaker directs sound towards the listener for a high quality experience. Coming in at a respectable 16.5" tall, these speakers are equipped for crystal clear audio. With forward facing tweeters, mid-range drivers, and a downwards facing bass driver, these two speakers will constantly pummel you with powerful sound.

With the help from its sail-like shape, the Spinnaker delivers lifelike and accurate sound quality that isn't muffled and distorted by enclosure vibrations. Featuring Bluetooth technology, you can enjoy your tunes without the bothersome cables and cords. If you were to choose to, there are also additional auxillary as well as optical inputs to fit anybody's home theatre needs. Combined with tri-amp technology for improved power and dynamics, the Spinnaker is willing to offer it all.

The Edifier Spinnaker is available in both black and burgandy colors for $350 on their website.

Kensington's BungeeAir Battery Case Alerts You When You Forget Your iPhone 4

Thank you Kensington for making the most useful battery case the iPhone 4 has ever seen. Kensington's new BungeeAir Power Wireless Security Tether battery case is a slim 3-in-1 case that not only can it juice up your iPhone 4 with its built-in 1500mAh battery, but perhaps the most useful feature it packs is a wireless security alert system that will alert you should you forget your iPhone 4 and it'll alert you right away even before you can get far away from it. When the BungeeAir case senses that it has been left behind, it will immediately alert the BungeeAir key fob that you'll be carrying around with you that will alert you by loud beeping noises as well as vibration. It will also lock your iPhone 4's screen requiring a passcode as a precautionary step in case someone is quick on their feet to find your missing iPhone 4. It also has a built-in stand for landscape and portrait viewing angles. Apple should really consider handing these out to its employees from now on.

The BungeeAir security system also works both ways in case you lose your keys with the BungeeAir key fob attached to help you find them quicker. There is of course a limiting proximity in which both wireless receivers can work in and that also depends on the environment. An average distance of 50 feet is the limit in which both BungeeAir receives can operate in. The BungeeAir Power Wireless Security Tether case will be available for $99.99. A battery-less offering is also available for $79.99. Video after the break!

Logitech Debuts Wireless Touchpad, The Trackpad For PC Desktops

PC users can finally enjoy the desktop experience of using a wireless trackpad of which Mac users have been enjoying ever since Apple released its Magic Trackpad. Logitech's latest peripheral is called the Wireless Touchpad, and it's a much bulkier and less streamline wireless trackpad for desktop use than its Magic Trackpad rival. Logitech's Wireless Touchpad features a wide 5" multi-touch finger tracking surface for various different types of multi-touch gestures similar to what is possible on the Magic Trackpad and packs an impressive 4 month battery life. Although the Wireless Touchpad is more affordable at $49.99, it lacks Bluetooth connectivity that forces you to make room for its tiny 2.4Ghz USB wireless receiver. The Logitech Wireless Touchpad is expected to be available later this week.

Beats Wireless, First Beats By Dr. Dre Wireless Headphones

Looks like Monster finally decided to out some wireless headphones after all. The FCC just approved what will be the newest addition to the Beats By Dr. Dre lineup called the Beats Wireless. The Beats Wireless headphones look like they are a mix of the Studio and the Solo HD mixed into one. They'll be Bluetooth enabled and have features such as headset capabilities with side controls to let you answer calls and control your music playback. Gone are the replaceable batteries that were used to power up the active noise-cancellation, the Beats Wireless will have a built-in rechargeable battery. Will we see these being bundled up with some HTC handsets in the future? After all, HTC didn't purchase the Beats By Dr. Dre brand for no reason. We're expecting to see these being released very soon for a heft price tag as usual.

Wingstand Will Marry Your Tablet & Smartphone With Your Keyboard

This neat little accessory called the Wingstand, takes advantage of your existing Apple Wireless Keyboard and attached to it in order to marry your iPad, tablet, eReader and even a smartphone into a touchscreen working horse. The Wingstand is possibly the tiniest and most portable stand solution we've ever seen before. Of course you can always get one of those keyboard cases, but the Wingstand was created for those who already have all the parts necessary in making their own Multi-Touch computer on the cheap. Wingstand even works with most incased tablets and smartphones so you'll always stay safe and protected. Your gadget will that is. Even Apple's Smart Cover, although that really defeats the purpose of having a Smart Cover isn't it.

Check out the video after the break for some geekiness action. If you like what you see, then you can pre-order a Wingstand for $20 over at Kickstarter. We've got much love for Kickstarter here at Gadgetmac.
