SMS Audio Releases New Sport Line Of Headphones

SMS Audio has introduced the availability of its new Sport Collection of headphones featuring sweat-repelling nano technology in-ear and on-ear headphones designed for active lifestyle use. The new SYNC by 50 Wireless Sport on-ear headphones ($230) and the STREET by 50 Sport wired on-ear headphones ($180) are made using a durable rubberized material finish that SMS Audio is calling its 40U coating, which resists scratches, chipping as well as fingerprints. With an IPX4 rating, the SYNC and STREET Sport headphones are both sweat and water-proof thanks to a special nano-coating technology. Both of these headphones also have large, memory foam-padded Oval-Fit ear cushions covered with perforated leather for maximum comfort and breathability.

Nocs Intros NS500 In-Ear Headphones With iPhone 5s-Inspired Design

Nocs has introduced its latest in-ear headphones today, the $80 NS500 Aluminum. These iPhone 5s-inspired in-ears are one of the prettiest we've seen. The NS500 share a similar refined and minimalist design language with Apple's iPhone 5s like a polished chamfered-cut edge, smooth sandblasted aluminum surface and construction anodized in a subtle champagne gold hue - or in a Space Gray shade to compliment your iOS handset.

The NS500's 8mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers claim to deliver the listener with an "amazing sonic experience that offers impeccable balance, rich detail and a deep bass". A flat tangle-free, Kevlar reinforced cable features Nocs' slim and lightweight, iOS 7-compatible 3-button remote with MEMS microphone for headset use and music playback control. Monster Teams Up With UFC To Release Its Octagon Headphones

Monster is showcasing its new Octagon headphones at CES 2014, which Monster is releasing in partnership with UFC (Ultimate Fighter Championship) as the organization's official headphones. The headphones are designed to be unforgettably bold, featuring DJ-style swiveling over-ear cups with plush padded cushions and a red or black matte finish. Monster's new Octagon headphones have what may seem like an ultra-durable metal part construction.

Inspired and worn by world-class UFC athletes such as UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, the Octagon headphones are designed to sustain the wear and tear of traveling and training. Features also include rotating ear cups, matte finish, and an ultra-durable construction.

They come included with a studio-type, detachable and anti-tangle coiled audio cable with an inline universal ControlTalk remote and mic module. Typical of Monster, no detailed specs were given regarding the Octagon's internal drivers. But the company says that its headphones feature Pure Monster Sound (whatever that means), and deep pounding bass. Classic Monster right there. They're available for pre-order right now for $280, and are expected to ship later this month. Batteries not required.

Beats Intros Gold Studio, urBeats, Pill Designed By Alexander Wang

It appears that Beats came down with gold fever hitting just about every other company lately as it partnered with Alexander Wang, who? You probably heard the name in Kanye West's New Slaves. Anyway, the exclusive partnership with the young designer beared three golden colored audio gear offerings with a contrasting matte black finish. Beats' svelte looking Studio 2.0 noise-canceling headphones, Pill wireless portable speaker and urBeats in-ear headphones designed and touched by Alexander Wang will all be in limited supply and will each come with a custom fitted embossed glossy stingray carrying case, a signature of Wang's fashion-inspired work.

Alexander Wang partnered with Beats to create a custom line of products. The strictly limited, pale gold with matte black pieces include his signature embossed glossy stingray case with zipper and clip.

For a limited edition Alexander Wang Beats Studio 2.0 headphones you'll need to part with $450 of your well earned money, $300 if you're feeling like picking up a gold black Pill speaker, and only $150 to plug your ears with a golden polished urBeats in-ear headphones. Beats hasn't spilled when or where people will be able to order Alexander Wang's limited edition Beats collection, but you can apparently sign-up to be notified once the so-called private sale launches.
