Jays u-Jays On-Ear Headphones Review

Jays is back at it again, this time with a new pair of closed-back on-ear headphones, which the company boasts as its most premium set of cans yet. They certainly look the part. The u-JAYS are stunningly minimalist, clean and timeless in design, boasting Jays signature black colorway with ultra modern aesthetics and contrasting metal accents. Priced in at $230, the u-JAYS promise extreme prolong wearability using a lightweight silicone-skinned headband with stainless steel reinforcement for increased durability as well as a balanced fit with minimized clamping force over the ears. Viscoelastic on-ear cushions help create a tight fitting seal by conforming to the shape of the wearer's ears, and are said to help improve sound quality and minimize sound leakage. Master & Dynamic MH30 Headphones Review

Master & Dynamic makes some of the most amazing high-end headphones money can buy at under $400. We were very impressed with the amount of quality and attention to detail when we tested the company's flagship MH40 over-ear headphones, which are fairly large but immensely comfortable to wear. And for those looking for something a little more portable to use while out and about, we have finally gotten our hands on Master & Dynamic's MH30.

These are the company's smaller and lighter on-ear model that boasts just as much refinement and quality as the larger and slightly more expensive MH40 - like a solidly built forged aluminum frame with beautifully designed details, detachable woven audio cables with built-in audio controls, a durable cowhide leather covered headband and detachable memory foam ear pads covered in supple lambskin leather. Unlike the MH40, the MH30's portable design allows them to be folded for more convenient carry. And while the MH30 are made using the same premium materials and general design aesthetics as Master & Dynamic's MH40, on the inside, the MH30 in fact have smaller 40mm Neodymium drivers versus the 45mm drivers found in the MH40. Subjekt TNT Headphones Review

It's true we rarely pay attention when inexpensive headphones hit the booming audio market, especially when they're made by brands without particular promise. Because finding that diamond in the rough is no easy task. Why bother waste time when you pretty much know the outcome in stone. Alas, I've decided to come off that high horse they call audiophile bliss, and for once try something that looks unappetizing to see if its worth your money. Subjekt's TNT are a pair of low profile on-ear headphones said to pack a glorious supercharged, ultra-premium (not just any premium) 40mm dynamic drivers that'll deliver rich and crystal clear sound. Logitech UE 4000 Headphones Review

Not that long, Logitech has introduced a new joint line of headphones and portable speakers with Ultimate Ears under the new Logitech UE brand name. Apparently the new brand boasts some extraordinary technology, research and development to back up its new line of audio gear. While Logitech joined forces with Ultimate Ears a few years ago, the brand is most known for creating some of the best custom made in-ear monitors for professional musicians. So it's safe to say that we're excited to see what this new joint venture brings forth.

The Logitech UE 4000 headphones are one of the three entry level consumer headphones that Logitech UE recently released out into the wild.
