JBL OnBeat Micro Review

Apple's recent transition over to the superior Lightning connector resulted in quite a few now obsolete 30-pin dock connector accessories and frustrated early adopters. JBL faithfully beat everyone to the punch in releasing the world's first portable Lightning speaker dock. JBL's OnBeat Micro is a smallish speaker dock which features a set of powerful speakers for room-filling stereo sound, and a built-in Lightning connector that will work with the iPhone 5 as well as the iPod Touch 5. JBL took us by surprise when we reviewed its portable Flip speaker, which turned out to be astoundingly awesome. We've even considered it to be the best sounding Bluetooth portable speaker in the $100 price range. Suffice it to say the OnBeat Micro will not disappoint us in the sound department either. Catch the full review after the beat!

Logitech UE 6000 Headphones Review

Here they are, Logitech's mid-entry pair of over-ear headphones with active noise-canceling and pretty much everything else you could ever ask for. The UE 6000 are exactly the type of headphones you get when Logitech and Ultimate Ears bring together loads of experience and understanding in sound, technology and product design. These are Logitech's reasonably priced mid-level cans which sit right in-between the affordably priced on-ear UE 4000, and the more premium priced wireless Bluetooth over-ear UE 9000. With so many features and a wicked awesome design at a $200 price range, the UE 6000 might be our most favorite over-ear headphones of 2012. Lots more in the full review down below!

Eskuche Control V2 Headphones Review

Haven't heard about Eskuche yet? Neither have we, but you'll be glad you just did. The newly formed audio brand based in Los Angeles is apparently heavily inspired by 70s industrial design of audio equipment, and it shows. Eskuche's new Control V2 headphones are perhaps one of the first affordably priced headphones that I'm thrilled to be testing out. The Control V2 headphones are a part of Eskuche's latest collection of trendy headphones dubbed the V2 series which combine retro styling with modern urban characteristics. Our full review is waiting for you down below.

Padlette DeeTwo Grip Handle for iPad mini Review

Oh Padlette, that favorite silicone grip handle for the iPad of ours now comes in a new flavor. The DeeTwo (D2) is Padlette's latest silicone made grip handle designed to fit any ultra-portable 7-inch tablet like the iPad mini and the Nexus 7; arguably the two best tablets in the category. Once paired up with a 10-inch variant tablet such as the handsome iPad, there's no substitute for a Padlette. It really is one of the greatest accessories you can get for you tablet if grip is what you're looking for. Obviously it isn't going to suit everyone, but do ultra-portable tablets like iPad mini call for a grip handle such as the DeeTwo? We find out after the jump!

Podi-m Aluminum Lightning Dock Review

Docks are a simple convenience that let your charge your device proudly. They are a stationary charging station designed exclusively for an assortment of gadgetry. And the Podi-m is the type of dock that can do it all. Designed with elegant style in mind, the Podi-m is a Lightning dock when you want it to be, and a 30-pin connector dock if you're still left behind. It comes to us curtsy of Kickstarter, a popular project crowd funding site that helps fund and build the concept dreams of individuals and startups alike into a reality. We've seen some amazing products successfully make their way from unknown concepts into great hits in a short amount of time with the help of curious buyers searching for that unique thing.

Take the Adonit Jot stylus, the incredibly useful olloclip iPhone 3-in-1 lens attachment and the LunaTik watch bands for example. All amazing accessories, made possible because of Kickstarter. The Podi-m is one of those upcoming products that's currently available to pre-order as of today, and we've got an exclusive first look at this versatile Lightning dock in its prototype state designed to sit and look pretty on your desk or night stand. Catch the full review right after the break!

Subjekt TNT Headphones Review

It's true we rarely pay attention when inexpensive headphones hit the booming audio market, especially when they're made by brands without particular promise. Because finding that diamond in the rough is no easy task. Why bother waste time when you pretty much know the outcome in stone. Alas, I've decided to come off that high horse they call audiophile bliss, and for once try something that looks unappetizing to see if its worth your money. Subjekt's TNT are a pair of low profile on-ear headphones said to pack a glorious supercharged, ultra-premium (not just any premium) 40mm dynamic drivers that'll deliver rich and crystal clear sound. We will be the judge of that of course. Our full review awaits!

Colorant USG ITG Tempered Glass iPhone 5 Screen Protector Review

Screen protectors were and will always continue to be the number one concern for protecting those amazing touchscreen displays of today's advanced smartphones. While many are already secretly fitted with tough scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 2 displays, people aren't prepared to take any risks whatsoever. Glass screen protectors were considered to be a breakthrough in screen protection when they were first commercially introduced to the consumer market a little over a year ago.

Spigen was the first to out a proper mainstream glass iPhone screen protector with the Glas.t. And now consumers have more selection, starting with Colorant's new USG Impossible Tempered Glass screen protector (or ITG for short) for the iPhone 5. Plastic screen protectors are trembling with fear right now. If the USG ITG is as good as the Glas.t we've reviewed, it'll be a great day for iPhone 5 users.
