id America TouchTone Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Review

That’s right, id America has brought its own portable speaker to market called the TouchTone. This touch controls-featuring compact speaker is looking to compete up against some incredibly known brands in the audio world. And at $80, the TouchTone is asking for a piece of Ultimate Ears' ultra-compact and nicely balanced Mini Boom speaker, JBL's all-too familiar Flip speaker and many more that plague the shelves of electronic retail giants and the likes of Amazon and other online retailers.

But what does a case company have anything to do with audio gear? We asked the same exact question numerous times before, notably when Incase launched its line of headphones more than a year ago, we questioned the accessory brand's ability to put out decent sounding headphones. Needless to say, we were astounded by how amazing Incase's Sonic headphones actually turned out. So before we doubt another case company's ability to expand its line of products, we are giving id America's first ever speaker an honest shot as we go ears on with the new TouchTone portable Bluetooth wireless speaker. Be sure to head past the break for our full review!

id America The New Metropolitan In-Ear Headphones Review

Our case-making friends over at id America are at it again with their newly released the new Metropolitan in-ear headphones, and we are very excited to give them a thorough review. What’s great about these headphones is they won’t burn a hole in your pocket. Coming in at under $30, they are just as affordable as the iPhone cases we all spend money on. We had our hands on some of id America's other offering, namely the company's Spark in-ear headphones which we found to be good enough to recommend. So naturally were hoping the low price point of the Metropolitan won’t come with lower build and sound quality. Let’s jump right into the review and give you all a break down of the features, build quality, and sound to see if id America has another winner on their hands.

id America Gasket V8 Aluminum iPhone 5 Case Review

The roaring sound of a performance V8 engine can give petrol heads a tingling sensation down in their nether regions. We wonder what an iPhone case might do. id America's Gasket V8 is an all-aluminum iPhone 5 case with an original design deliberately made to make your iPhone 5 look like it's part of a masculine V8 engine block. We haven't seen such a testosterone-loaded case like the Gasket V8 since we last reviewed the Japanese engineered Draco IV by Draco Design.

The Gasket V8 case is id America's second iteration, one that was first designed for the iPhone 4 and now brought back to encase the ever so worthy iPhone 5. As much as it may be a rehashed design, we have found that the Gasket V8 is an improved version of its V8-less predecessor. It's time to push the pedal to the metal to find out how well this case performs.

id America Spark In-Ear Headphones Review

Protective case makers have very little to do with audio for the right reasons, but that doesn't seem to stop Incase, Incipio and many others from creating their own line of audio gear to offer consumers. The trend has now infected id America. Rocking a case from your favorite case maker isn't enough these days, you gotta pair a matching set of cans, preferably the kind with headset functions to fully enjoy your smartphone. Well in that case, id America has recently come up with the Spark in-ear headphones. With the resounding resemblance of a spark plug, the Spark go hand in hand with the company's Gasket iPhone case respectively.

But in fact we were surprised in the past testing out various case companies' audio gear. Should these in-ears spark your interest? Catch the full review after the jump to find out!

ID-America Gasket for iPhone 4 Review

ID-America is a company known for making unique cases for your devices at reasonable prices. Recently they released a new blue version of their Gasket case, which is a snap-on back cover made out of aluminum and made to look like (as the name suggests) a car gasket head. It definitely looks great, but does it have substance to back up the style? Read on to find out.

id America Ice & Dryice Clear & Soft Grip Cases for iPhone 4

I got my hands on id America's new Ice and Dryice cases for the iPhone 4, both of which were born in the big apple. You may wonder why these are called Ice and Dryice, the Ice case is a crystal clear hard polycarbonate two-piece case whereas the Dryice take on a more frosted matte look, just like a cube of dry ice. Whether you're into the crystal clear look that shows off your iPhone 4's true colors thru the hard polycarbonate shell or if a frosted matte finish is more your type of case, id America's Ice and Dryice cases are worth a look. Check out the full review right after the cut where I dig deep into these good looking cases. I had to literally dig.

id America Cushi Soft Foam Pad Skin for iPhone 4

We covered many skins here on Gadgetmac, from carbon fiber, leather and vinyl skins for the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and even MacBooks. Until now skins have been the preferred and cheap way of having some sort protection against scratches and even a neat way of adding some color and flare to your device. Those skins that we're all accustomed to are all flat with little to no grip. id America's latest Cushi skins are here to change all of that. Catch the full review of these wacky 3D-like textured skins for the iPhone 4 right after the jump.
