Maroo Kaumata 2 & Maunga 2 Nylon & Leather iPad 2 Folio Review

Maroo is a relatively new brand name that makes folio cases for the iPad and iPad 2. You may be familiar with these folio cases if you've heard about Cyber Acoustics, which are the same guys behind this new venture. Granted Cyber Acoustics wasn't a very appealing name to brand an iPad case from the get go. Not much has changed since I've reviewed the Cyber Acoustics iPad folio case a while back. The Maroo folios have the same great mounting system that Cyber Acoustics have created with their first generation iPad folio. We're going to take a look at Maroo's two different series of folios for the iPad 2, the Nylon and Leather Series. Will the new Maroo brand be worthy of your iPad 2? Go past the break for the full review to find out!

Acase EZ-Carry Ultra Slim Polyurethane Folio for iPad 2 Review

Acase has been kind enough to send out a few of their new goodies to review. What we've got here is probably the answer for your Smart Cover mashed with first gen iPad Case yearning. We all know Apple's Smart Covers are colorful and magnetically magical, but they lack one important aspect which is back protection. Your iPad 2 is prone to scratches and dents on its beautiful aluminum back if you're using a Smart Cover. This is where Acase's EZ-Carry Ultra Slim folio case for the iPad 2 comes into play. Acase has hit the nail on the head with matching the colors of each Smart Cover almost precisely. I know I and many others have been wanting a bit more protection for their iPad 2 because Apple's Smart Cover really isn't all that good in that respect. So let's give these Smart Cover look-alike protective folio cases the full rundown in the full review right after the jump.

Booq Booqpad Agenda for iPad 2

Ever since the first iPad came out, I was on the quest to find the perfect folio case without all the crazy stands, latches, creases, legs, etc. All I wanted was a simple folio case that could hold a notebook, that was low key enough for me to take on my business meetings and not draw too much attention to the fact that I had an iPad in my possession and that I was using it at a meeting. Well it took me a while, but right when I clicked on Booq's Booqpad link, I knew I had to have this case. From pictures it looked like the ideal set up. Find out if it actually is after the break!

MonCarbone Magnet Force & Portfolio iPhone 4 & iPad Carbon Fiber Cases

Our friends over at monCarbone have hooked us up with their newly released real carbon fiber cases for the iPhone 4 and iPad. The Magnet Force is monCarbone's updated version of the HoverCoat case for the iPhone 4 which we reviewed last year and it rocked my socks off. This time, the Magnet Force is what its name suggests, a magnetic carbon fiber case. monCarbone's Portfolio case for the iPad also bares a very similar form factor of the HoverCoat case for the iPad which we also reviewed last year, and it too got a spec bump. I've had some gripes about the glossy finishes on the HoverCoat cases and I hoped monCarbone fixed that issue when they release new cases. Check out the full review after the break to find out if monCarbone fixed all the kinks.
