Incase Ping Pong Case for iPhone 4 Review

Incase is a Well Known Brand in the world of cases and covers for Apple products. Recently They released the new Ping Pong Case, a TPU case that has the design of a ping pong paddle. It comes in 4 different colors and retails for $29.99, putting it in the sweet spot as far as price. Its closest rivals are the PixelSkin HD by Speck Products and the NGP by Incipio. Lets see how Incase's new product stacks up.

Let's start off with the good. If you look around the case, you'll find that all the buttons are covered up and have pretty good feedback. At the bottom you have 3 separate cutouts for the speaker, mic, and 30-Pin Connector. Its very comfortable to hold and because of the matte finish, it also slips in and out of your pockets easily.

There are a Few Downsides however. First is that the sides of the case are a bit loose, especially the top edge. It has quite a bit of flex and you can clearly see that it has a bowing effect. Also in the unit I received, there were two bumps in the TPU itself (see picture below). These are just minor grips and really doesn't effect the overall case too much

Overall, the Ping Pong Case is a Pretty Solid case and It will give some pretty good competition to the PixelSkin HD and NGP. Pick it up today in your choice of Blue, Red, Green, or Black at their website.
