Griffin Announces New iPad 3rd Gen Cases, Available Now

Griffin has announced its not so new lineup cases for the new ipad 3rd gen including the ever so tough Survivor case. At $80, the Survivor is Griffin’s most protective iPad case yet, designed to meet and even exceed US military standards. The Survivor features a shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame, clad in rugged, shock-absorbing silicone and comes with a clip-on stand for typing and viewing pleasure. This combination of materials protects against dirt, sand, rain, shock, vibration, and a host of other environmental factors thanks to built-in port covers and a built-in screen protector. The case is available in Pink and Black right now along with a few of Griffin's other new iPad case offerings like the InteliCase at $60.

The IntelliCase is a folio style case that features a hard polycarbonate back shell with a protective Smart Cover-like flexible front cover that folds up into a stand for multiple uses. It's available now in four colors for both the iPad 2 and the new iPad 3rd gen. Despite the fact that the new iPad is slightly thicker than the iPad 2, many case manufactures insist that their current cases made for the Pad 2 will fit just fine.

Griffin Brings Out The Micro Guns With Helo TC Touch Controlled Helicopter

Parrot's AR. Drone may in fact be the most sophisticated iOS controlled helicopter, but Griffin's latest micro helicopter is heck of a lot more affordable and does a lot of what its much more expensive rival can do without breaking the bank. The Helo TC is Griffin's tuch controlled, gyro stabilized, USB rechargeable mico helicopter that lets you fly it using your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch using the free Helo TC app. It works using infrared instead of a WiFi or Bluetooth connection using the included Flight Deck adapter that clips onto your iDevice of choice. The Helo TC app lets you record up to three flight plan patterns and even take control of the 5 LEDs on board.

At first glance, the Helo TC looks just like any other micro helicopter you would find at your local mall or even on eBay. But those don't have the mighty power of touch controlling Griffin has to offer. The Helo TC touch controlled helicopter is out now and available in a stealthy black finish for $49.99.

Griffin's Military-Duty Survivor Case Now Protects The iPad 2

Griffin has finally released the Survivor case for the iPad 2 adding Military Grade toughness to protect your iPad 2 from mother natures most dangerous conditions a gadget like the iPad 2 should never be exposed to like rain, dirt, sand and other environmental conditions. The Survivor case for the iPad 2 is built with a shatter-resistant polycarbonate inner frame with a built-in screen protector wrapped in a rugged, shock and vibration absorbing silicone complete with built-in hinged port plugs. We reviewed Griffin's Survivor case for the iPhone 4 a while back, and it looks like this will be one heck of a protective case for the iPad 2. It also looks like Griffin listened to the very few drawbacks the first Survivor case had with the hinged port plugs now having a place to clip on so that they don't get in the way while opened.

The Survivor case for the iPad 2 includes a multi-position workstand that clip on providing landscape viewing and a typing angle. It's available now in black and pink for $79.99.
