Will iPhone 4 Cases Fit The iPhone 4S Too? Yes!

Update: Correction, all iPhone 4 cases that are Verizon and AT&T compatible will fit the iPhone 4S as well. Both the Verizon iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S have a silent switch that is designed just a few millimeters towards the top and that has caused cases to have a slight longer cutout for the side volume buttons and silent switch. Most if not all iPhone 4 cases are now compatible with the iPhone 4S. 

WaterField Intros Kindle Fire Protective Sleeves

Only days after the announcement of the Amazon Kindle Fire tablet, the usual suspects one of them being WaterField wasted no time at all to announce its protective cases and sleeves for the sizzling new tablet everyone's talking about. WaterField has announced that all of its current protective cases and sleeves will eventually be made available for the Kindle Fire within 2 weeks after November 15. Cases include the Smart Case pictured above priced at $59, and made out of multi-layered padding including a high-impact rigid insert and lined with soft Ultrasuede and leather trim.

Other offerings like WaterField's Suede Jacket sleeve for the Kindle Fire, the thinnest sleeve available offering scratch protection without the bulk for $19.

Purported iPhone 5 Case VS. iPhone 4, Big Difference

As we reported in these past few weeks of new cases suggesting a drastically redesigned iPhone 5, more details have now surfaced showing exactly how big of a change there is between the redesigned iPhone 5 against the current iPhone 4. By the looks of it, the purported iPhone 5 case above points to a wider and slightly longer iPad 2 and iPod Touch 4G-like form factor with a relocated silent switch.

We could be totally off the guessing game though.This case might even suggest a newly redesigned iPod Touch 5G with a large screen while keeping its steep contoured design. It would make sense for Apple to enlarge the screen size of their beloved portable gaming device. I don't feel like ditching the blocky design of the iPhone 4 for the more iPod Touch 4G-like design makes sense because of how less comfortable it is to hold. First Purported iPhone 5 Slider Case By Ego

And we're off to the races! Reputable case companies are already producing and investing R&D time in creating cases for the unreleased iPhone 5 based on early rumors and leaks. Ego has put up the above image of what looks to be their Slide Case designed for the iPhone 5. It's very hard to tell if the case itself it just a render or an actual prototype ready to incase the most anticipated smartphone since the iPhone 4. The contours and wide form factor do match the purported iPhone 5 specs. Whatever it may be, stunning is a word that should be used. Ego hasn't released any information as of yet.
