Facebook And Instagram Suspected Of Violating Antitrust Laws

Earlier this month, Facebook offered a $1 billion paycheck to the widely popular photo-sharing app creator, Instagram. Quickly skyrocketing to the #1 spot in the App Store, Instagram has been an overall success. This acquisition caused a lot of disapproval from Instagram users, calling the company of their once favorite app a sell-out.

Now, it seems fans are not the only people against this buyout. The U.S Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has approached Facebook with an investigation, putting a hold on the $1 billion acquisition to determine if any U.S antitrust laws were violated. Regardless, Facebook plans to pay out $200 million to Instagram’s two co-founders.

Apple Delays White iPhone Until Spring 2011

Apple, this is getting ridiculous. You first said that there would be a slight delay of the white iPhone, then at the end of July, then later on this year, then around Christmas and now you moved the date again to spring 2011! The iPhone 5 might be released before the white iPhone 4 at this rate. However, being put back to Spring 2011, could mean that the white iPhone will be released on Verizon. Further backing up the January 2011 Verizon iPhone.

 Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said:

We're sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again.

But when asked why, she declined to comment.
